Battalion Wars 2 (BWii) For Wii: September 24 US Release Date

According to this months issue of Nintendo Power, Battalion Wars 2 by publisher Kuju Entertainment will flank its way into US stores on September 24th, 2007.
The much anticipated sequel to the Gamecube title “Battalion Wars” offers up a stylized and highly addictive representation of war, putting you behind the wheel of cartoonish tanks, turrets, and other military machinery.
While the comic book look from the original remains, Battalion Wars 2 features noticeably improved graphic enhancements such as greater character and level detail, much more elaborate and impressive special effects, and what appears to be a more fluid frame rate. Level designs are similar to the first installment but slightly bigger on the Wii.
In terms of gameplay, BWii utilizes the Wii remote and numchuk, and while it is very responsive and a ton of fun, there will be a bit of a learning curve for some gamers.
In addition to online game play, which has been confirmed for quite some time now, gamers will have three new multiplayer modes to choose from: Assault, Co-op, and Skirmish. When you factor in new military vehicles and the ability to secure enemy buildings you get the feeling that this installment of BW will not disappoint.
