Circuit City Rumored To Be Laying Off Large Portion Of Experienced Workforce…
by Chad Lakkis on May 30, 2007
While this may not exactly be video game, or movie, or even gadget news, it does involve many individuals who have made a career out of selling those exact items to consumers across the country. They depend on these things to pay the bills each month and we just got word from a very reliable source within Circuit City that they plan to lay off a portion of that workforce in the coming weeks.

It is very upsetting when you think that the first people to get cut are often those that have given many years of service to a company, and it is not just Circuit City, this appears to be a growing trend with big box consumer electronic stores lately.
All this leaves us asking one question, how can they continue to show commercials that depict their employees as so called “experts” when the majority of the seasoned, experienced, customer savy, salesmen and women are being let go first?
