Metal Gear Solid 4, As Of June 28th, Still Undecided About E3 2007

Three boxes left boss. Do you want me to load em up on the truck for E3?
In a recent “Kojima Productions Report” podcast interview with Mark MacDonald the question was asked, will Metal Gear Solid 4 be at E3 2007? The response was…
“Thats a good question … and as of this recording (June 28th broadcast), it’s not decided, honestly.”
We were all lead to believe that the major issue with the old E3 was the cost associated with being there as a publisher, yet with the upfront cost cut drastically this year we are seeing many developers still opting out of being there and others still on the fence.
With so many companies having a hard time committing to “min-E3” or deciding not to show at all, it makes us really question whether or not the idea to do away with the old E3 format was really was the best course of action.

Update: 7/5/07 - 9:00PM EST
It appears that the final three boxes were loaded onto the truck after all. A new Metal Gear Solid 4 Trailer will be shown at E3 2007 next week. The trailer will be completely in English and hints about a previously unseen returning character. That is all we have at this moment. Sit tight.

Personally I think MGS4 is going to be at E3. I got my popcorn ready! Nice find.

I build booths for shows and I am not sure if they are having booths this year but if they are it doesn’t seem like much time to get everything together. If they still don’t know if they are showing the game then they may just pass on this year all together.

MGS4 will be there, my dad is solid snake, and he told me it will be there.

Maybe the fact that Snake is older in this game means it is taking them longer to finish it up. Old people move slow ya know?
