No Final Fantasy XIII At E3 2007?

I am not a big fan of video game conference “shrinkage”.
During a “1Up Yours” podcast on 1Up.com between site editor Garnett Lee and Electronic Gaming Monthly Previews Editor Bryan Intihar the two discussed what may be seen as a possible “disappointment” at this years E3. At that time Bryan of EGM said…
“Well the obviously big disappointment is that, there will be no Final Fantasy XIII what so ever.”
Does this come from Square Enix directly? No it does not, but the comment doesn’t surprise us at all since we reported back on May 26th that Square Enix along with SEGA, and Capcom would not be offering up formal conferences at this years E3. That said, could Square present some new information in an “informal” manner? Sure they could, so don’t give up hope just yet.
