New Trailer & Images For TimeGate’s “Section 8″ First Person Shooter
TimeGate Studios, creators of the critically acclaimed Kohan series and the award-winning F.E.A.R. Extraction Point, announced today that Gamecock Media Group will publish their upcoming cross-platform sci-fi shooter, Section 8, scheduled for release in 2009.
“Section 8 is our most ambitious project to date, and it’s really exciting to have the full support of our publisher to deliver the absolute best game possible.” said Adel Chaveleh, President and CEO of TimeGate Studios.
Section 8 brings strategy and tactics to the first-person shooter genre as a large-scale, futuristic first person shooter that allows players to modify the battlefield on the fly. The name “Section 8″ refers to a super elite squad of powered armor infantry (the big robotic looking guys you will play as during the game).
As mentioned above, Gamecock Media Group will publishing the title and it is currently scheduled to ship in 2009. Check out the short video clip they just sent us below along with four new images.
