Microsoft Believes Halo Movie Has Potential – VP Makes Comparison To Star Wars

In a “lost E3 interview” featured on GamePro.com, Microsoft’s Game Studio Vice President Shane Kim was asked for details regarding the recent Halo short film. He revealed that the piece, directed by Neill Blomkamp and executively produced by Peter Jackson, was indeed live action. He went on to say that while a Halo movie is not currently in production, they are still very interested in bringing videogame to the big screen.
“We think Halo can be one of those epic stories like Star Wars. We still have work to do, there’s no question about that, but we believe that Halo has the potential”
