“Encroachment Defense” – Madden 08 Bug?

Madden gamers may need to get used to hearing this or come up with a rule amongst friends before starting an online match.
I popped in Madden 08 for the Xbox 360 after just getting it from the midnight release and have already got the defensive end to jump offsides 9 times on one drive basically moving me into scoring position. Curious if anyone else is experiencing this. If so, this could be a huge bug in the game and prove to frustrate many gamers.

The entire physics of the running game in madden is a glitch. Unless of course you think professional running backs move around like they are underwater.

Well, I got this game, hugely disappointed.
2K8 is 100 times better IMO.
This game is like watching old people eat. Online gaming sucks big time.
Please avoid this game as it will not get better if we all keep buying it each year.
What a total shame!

madden 08 for ps3 is like crap. If you turn it to all madden and your on defense. Sometimes if your ahead or is tied All the corners just stand there and let the receiver by and they score every time. Even if i have cover 4 they act like its a run play its very gay.

Madden 08 sucks if your on offense sometimes the offense of line lets the defense right through without a block. Even with the running game.

the blocking thing is a user glitch on madden u have to let ur blocks develop u cant just sprint every play ur blockers will do the same to keep up with u u guys just suck at madden i havent had any of these problems but 2k8 is better

oh yea i did the encroahcment thing to shaun rogers is the only one who does it ig to like 25 free yards off him back to back it was either that or let him get a good jump and kill my lineman

Yup, i’ve dont this too……its always the same guy on the defense..
