Want To Break The Halo 3 Street Date? Jules and Vincent Say “Stop Right There”

So you have heard about a few lucky gamers who got their hands on the Halo 3 game before its release date and now you wish you were in their shoes. Not so fast — according to computerandvideogames.com, Microsoft is ready to dish out lifetime bans from its Xbox Live service for anyone caught playing the game before its street release date … like this cool guy who posted a picture of himself holding the game in his hand and his receipt (with his credit card number clearly visible) for the world to see. Wonder if he will ever take those shades off now.
And if you think you can play the game offline and get away with it, that apparently won’t work either. According to CVG your Xbox 360 will “magically detect whether you’ve been playing it” even if you don’t take your gaming online which struck us as odd. If the system could perform “magic” you think it would magically prevent itself from breaking down and over heating.
In closing, unless you want to have Jules and Vincent stop by for a lesson in what is right and wrong, our advice to you would be to wait for the game to hit the streets like a good little gamer. Big Mac anyone?
