Round trip flight to Tokyo from pretty much anywhere in the United States, $1027.00. Playing the Metal Gear Solid 4 demo at the Tokyo Game Show, priceless. Playing the same demo from the comfort of your home without the cost of a plane ticket, even better.

For those that haven’t heard yet, Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots was available hands on at this years Tokyo Game Show. As great as that is for the population that was lucky enough to make it there, news that the demo will soon be available over the Playstation Network is even better.

Kojima Productions is planning on releasing a demo to the general public via the PSN, and while we are unsure as to whether or not it will be exactly the same as the one shown at TGS, we are pretty sure that gamers will welcome the opportunity to play the game in any format.
