Neo Geo Back in Business?

Nintendo has launched three new classic games to the Wii Shop Channel this morning. Neo Geo is now the sixth platform represented in the Wii Shop Channel.
Fans may remember the arcade hits Fatal Fury, World Heroes, and the Art of Fighting from the Neo Geo arcade days in the early 90’s.
Fatal Fury was released in 1991 and is a fighting game that features eight characters. The game uses a battle system where you fight in two different planes on the screen, one in the foreground and the other in the background.
Another fighting game, World Heroes, was released in 1992. This game consists of regular matches and Death Match that features dangerous objects in the battle arena.
Art of Fighting set new standards for graphics in video games. Released in 1992, this fighting game added camera zooms during battles and little touches to characters during battle, showing bloody cuts and voice-over samples during cut scenes.
These three games are now available for 900 Wii Points each. Nintendo adds new games to the Wii Shop Channel every Monday.
What classic games could be next? We’ll have to wait and see next Monday.
