Next Gen Bionic Commando Announced

Capcom has announced development of “Bionic Commando” for the 360, PS3, and PC platforms.
You might remember the 8-bit version of the game from its debut on the NES, or its reincarnations on Gameboy and Gameboy Color. Capcom hopes to invigorate this hibernating franchise with stunning new graphics and game play.
Looks aside, the chain swinging action that was a staple of the series is still in full effect, with wall-walking, rappelling, swinging, and all the other fun stuff you can do with a hook and chain!
The story for the upcoming Bionic Commando title is a little more intense than its 1988 predecessor that featured a “Let’s Blow up the Nazis” approach. This time around, gamers will play as Nathan Spencer, a bionic government operative, who gets framed by his supervisor for crimes he didn’t commit (ain’t that always the case) and thereby sentenced to be executed.
As luck would have it though, an experimental terrorist weapon (vague I know) is detonated in Ascension City, so of course the government must turn to the only man who can terrain through the debris.

The development team behind Bionic Commando consists of an American producer living in Japan, a Japanese creative adviser, and Sweden based developer GRIN, whose previous work includes Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter as well as the sequel Advanced Warfigher 2.
