Box art for the upcoming GTA IV made its way on to the web today, as XboxFamily reports that Rockstar sent them three empty boxes each displaying a different design. Rumor has it that there is a forth design in the works as well, though no information has been made available yet.

We put an email in to our trusty source at Rockstar, and within a few seconds we got a reply stating:

“… the GTA box art that you’ve been seeing online, I can confirm that it is not final box art. Those are just mock boxes that were sent out to retailers.”

There you have it. It appears the art is not final, and the design team at Rockstar is still working away.
