The Sensible World of Xbox

After much deadline-missing, Sensible World of Soccer is finally going to make it to the Xbox Live Arcade only a few weeks after its predicted “November” release – and just in time for Christmas.
Many conflicting rumours were circulating suggesting the game would/wouldn’t meet its intended release date until all speculation was quashed by the announcement, made by a company employee on the game’s own discussion forum.
First announced late 2006, the game has failed to launch on several dates before now with networking issues with the game’s new online play and having to be scrutinized in line with Microsoft’s checking of new Live games.
Everyone is hoping that SWOS is a better update then the woeful 2006 which saw a release on Xbox and PS2. Judging by the information available, the game shouldn’t stray too far from the original SWOS’s fast-paced gameplay enjoyment. In fact, the only issue is that it could perhaps be too similar, with new graphics, achievements, and online play being the only apparent enhancements to the game.
Sensible World of Soccer will be released on December 19th.
