Annual Activision: Skateboarding Commando Rock Stars Get All The Chicks

In a valiant, striking effort to combat the used-games trading practices of such outlets as Gamestop, the newly-united Activision Blizzard (God, I hope that name is tentative) today announced that they will be making new installments in some of their hit franchises such as Guitar Hero and Call of Duty on an annual basis, not terribly unlike the practice followed by Electronic Arts and their yearly iterations of several hit titles.
The word came down from the mountain during a conference call with Activision CEO, lead singer, man-at-arms, and all-around chief muckamuck Bobby Kotick, whose words were “You can expect virtually every one of those properties (its 10 multi-million unit-selling franchises) will be exploited on an annual or close to annual basis.”
Exploitation? At least he doesn’t mince words.
Among the titles that would seem to be eligible are (as mentioned) Call of Duty, Guitar Hero, and Tony Hawk, a strong front-end towards Activision and Blizzard’s goal of forming “the world’s most profitable games business.”
In the meantime, I’ll be disappointed if all of this doesn’t yield at least one Wii game that uses the Wii Fit board to let you skateboard across the battlefield, blasting enemy soldiers with music from your Guitar Hero guitar like the cowboy from Silverhawks.
Who says innovation is dead?

Привет всем, млин тут комп не давно сломался и остался я без компа и инета аж на целых 5 дней! Епт такой тошняк был пока не починил, ведь есть все таки зависимость от компьютора как ни крути. Помню раньше не было и не надо )). А еще игры это вообще жесть затягивает. Не давно видел объявление на ряду с лечением табакокурения, алкогализма, в третей строчки было лечение от ИГРОМАНИИ. Во как! Докатились!
Зависимость или свобода конечно все зависит от нас.
