DS Breaks Sales Records for the Second Week in a Row

According to GamesIndustry.biz the Nintendo DS has broken weekly UK hardware sales records for December not once, but twice in the run up to Christmas.
More good news for Nintendo comes as these sales have, for the first time, pushed the DS install base over that of the Xbox 360 in the UK.
Selling 185,000 units in the first week of December, followed by over 200,000 units last week, the DS is proving all predictions right and is on track to become the must have toy this season.
The Wii is selling its fair share too, shifting more than 100,000 units just last week alone. Not bad when you consider the TV adverts for the Wii have been pulled in the UK following fears of stock shortages.
