Weighted Companion Cube Plushy Back in Stock - Price Quadruples!
by John Kershaw on December 19, 2007 at 12:34 am

If I’m being honest, I cried myself to sleep when I found out the cuddly cubes from Valve were out of stock, so you can imagine the joy on my face to find them back in stock!
There is a slight catch however, the price has been raised from $24.99 to $100. I admit you can’t put a price on love, but it’s all for a good cause. The proceeds from each sale will go directly to Child’s Play, a charity helping improve the lives of children in hospitals around the world by providing toys and games for them to play with.
Ripten reminds you that the plushy weighted companion cube will never threaten to stab you, and in fact, cannot speak.

I actually ordered one with the 100 price tag, I normally donate to Childs Play during this time of year so knowing the money was going to them made it easier to spend so much on the cube.
