Hudson Entertainment have announced today that they are releasing another expansion pack for their popular Xbox LIVE Arcade title Bomberman LIVE, a remake of their early 80’s arcade-style game Bomberman. The new bundle is set to become the third Bomb-Up Pack created since the game was released last July.
The new Bomb-Up Pack will feature ten new characters including “Bomb2-D2” and “Shinobi Bomb”. Two new levels will be also added in the form of “Cavity Land” described as “a sugary sweet candy land” and the industrial “Robot Factory”.
Furthermore, a new game mode entitled “Friendly Fire” has been added, in which all the solid blocks you have gotten so used to hiding behind have been replaced with holes. The winner is simply the player with the most frags at the end of the game. The new game type also comes with it’s own pair of leaderboards, tracking both the weekly and all-time top scores.
The pack will be released on December the 26th at a cost of 250 Microsoft Points.
