I donated $100 instead of going out on new year's eve when the tsunami hit a few years ago on Boxing Day. I wish I hadn't now, I could've had a good night out. I think you get more realistic when you're older and realise that life sucks in a huge way for most people round the globe. If you're lucky enough to be in a position to enjoy your life you should do so instead of making gestures like this that don't really solve anything.
