Sony To Announce Skype for PSP?
by Roly Reyes on January 2, 2008 at 5:12 pm
With all the leaks and rumors these days, this time Sony has let the cat out of the bag all by themselves. In preparation for next weeks Consumer Electronic Show (CES) in Las Vegas, Sony’s official CES website reveals some exciting news.
The text reads:
Call friends, talk trash to fellow gamers or catch up with acquaintances via Skype for PSP system.
It would seem as though Sony is integrating Skype as a whole and not just as a way to enable in-game voice chat. However, I would hope that they were working on implementing the latter as well.
Although we should wait for an official word, this does appear to be set in stone. Now let’s wait and see if Microsoft retaliates.
