Anarchy Online Still Free For 2008
by Dylan Duarte on January 8, 2008 at 9:03 pm

Fans who love to play Funcom’s futuristic MMO Anarchy Online but don’t want to pay for it will be glad to hear that the game will remain free for at least another year.
Anarchy Online’s free option limits players to just the core game, with the full game and expansions costing $10 a month. However, the expansions – of which there are four - can be purchased separately if you don’t want to pay a subscription fee.
Funcom offers a hearty thanks to the Anarchy Online community. It’s because of “steady growth” and their “outstanding contributions” that they offer this. While I’m not a big fan of MMOs, I am a big fan of free stuff, so kudos to you, Funcom.
