Can’t Find a Nintendo Wii? Get Your School to Buy One, or Seven

“You can play with my balls or my Wii. Your choice.”
The Nintendo Wii continues to expand its audience. First it was gamers, then senior citizens, and now gym teachers are making them available in gym class.
That’s right. The worst part of many a nerd’s school day has embraced the active nature of Wii Sports. Physical education teacher Don Prorok said he proposed buying seven systems and 28 controllers for his gym class after playing his brother’s Wii and realizing the potential it has to get kids moving.
“I was playing in the garage and I was tired and sore all over,” Prorok said.
Prorok said the program has been a hit with the kids and teachers alike. Chalk up another victory for Nintendo.
“They’re going to play video games anyway, we might as well steer them to the right ones,” Prorok said.
My only question is: where did they find seven Wiis?
