Wii: Resistance Fall of Mandy?

Wait, what? Resistance must have been big in Europe, since Nintendo are using the game to advertise Ghost Squad. And not in the way you might expect. The age of casual gaming is just beginning.
With the rise of the Wii, casual gaming has taken off and what better way to advertise it than to set it against the background of hardcore gaming titles. Insomniac’s Resistance: Fall of Man is the first to the table, with a “Resistance: Fall of Mandy” poster displaying a girl who is supposedly Mandy, being carried by a European metrosexual man.

It wasn’t the only game to be in (or out) of the joke, with “Couch of Duty” and “Make Up Of Honor” making their own appearances. Who’s could tell Nintendo to Ninten-don’t, when they’re advertising has been nothing short of spectacular – the whole world has gone Wii mad.

you know, I own the Wii and never play the thing, just lost all of it’s appeal after a while, now, I also own the ps3 and the 360 and love those machines, (well, the ps3 a little more than the 360)
Nintendo has some pretty neat advertising, but, they should stick to wooing the extremely casual gamer with things like….
bowling, and characters with no legs and arms….blah
