Master Chief Eats Soap – CoD4 Takes Top Spot on Xbox Live

Major Nelson posted the LIVE activity for the week of January 14th, and guess what took the top spot? Well, I guess I already gave it away. Infinity Ward’s awesome military shooter finally de-throned Master Chief and his rascally gang of Spartans.
While we don’t have the specific numbers, I’m sure it was a close race with a near photo finish. The list goes as such:
1 Call of Duty 4
2 Halo 3
3 Guitar Hero III
4 Gears of War
5 Rock Band
6 Madden NFL 08
7 Assassin’s Creed
8 Mass Effect
9 FIFA 08
10 Forza Motorsport 2
Now the real test is seeing if Call of Duty can remain King.

Good.
COD4 is by far a superior game to the overhyped game that is/was Halo 3.

CoD4 isn’t better than Halo, it is different to Halo. It boiled down to the fact that Halo was out for how long before CoD4? It was kind of inevitable people would stop playing Halo before they stop playing CoD4 imho.
