BioWare Working on New KOTOR
by Dylan Duarte on February 13, 2008 at 7:12 am

An Electronic Arts analyst report has revealed that developer BioWare is working on a new sequel to the massively successful franchise Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic.
BioWare is known for several quality RPGs, most notably the first KOTOR, Neverwinter Nights, and more recently, Mass Effect, to which they’re also working on two sequels.
Obsidian Entertainment took over the reigns for KOTOR 2, but it looks like BioWare is back in the saddle for the third installment. In addition to KOTOR 3 and Mass Effect 2 and 3, the developers are also currently working on the original RPG Dragon Age and possibly another MMO project. It’s a good day to be a BioWare fan.

KOTOR? Man, that game was stupid. I couldn’t just run around killing people! They actually expected me to TALK and shit! What a crap game that was. Maybe when Bioware starts making games with depth like Gears of War I’ll start caring about them, but until then, I’m going to keep playing Halo 3 online because it has all the story I need! Kill a guy then teabag the bastard. All that stupid crap like plot and character development get in the way of my quasi-homosexual gaming urges to pretend to put my balls on another guys mouth.
I’m joking, by the way. I couldn’t help it. After the way Mass Effect was received by all the morons out there, I just couldn’t help myself. I’m expecting this to be super awesome, though it pains me a little to know that it will probably be developed by EA Montreal or something after Bioware is fully enveloped in the Tetsuo Shima-esq beast that is EA and their name gets changed to be more in line with the corporate… line.

lmfao krispy… I nearly choked when you put depth and gears in the same sentence!
Good news that bioware is in the saddle for kotor 3, even I have to admit they did a hell of a job with kotor 1.
it’s almost odd though considering there doing mass effect as well, two very similar properties. i just hope that the game is on the ps3 in case of dlc and that any actually dlc amounts to more then pay for side quest money grab happening in mass effect.
