College bands will toot their horns in your living room when you start up NCAA Football 09 for the Nintendo Wii this fall, now that Electronic Arts has announced the title.
“Nintendo is excited to have NCAA Football 09 available for Wii. In my family, NCAA Football has always been a family event,” said Steve Singer, Nintendo of America’s vice president of Licensing. “Now with the Family Play mode from EA we can share the football experience all year long.”
This marks the first NCAA football title for the Wii, and just like EA’s other titles, it will incorporate Family Play. According to the press release, Family Play creates an accessible and rewarding interaction for the whole family to enjoy, regardless of your skill.
Family Play will allow everyone in the family to be able to take a snap, throw the ball and kick the football in between the goal post.
In addition to the title’s release, there will be exclusive NCAA college team mascots for each platform. The mascots will be voted on by players by visiting www.ncaafootball09.com.
Look out for the title this fall, and hopefully we’ll have a full review then.
