Microsoft Working on Xbox Live Version 3?
by Roly Reyes on February 18, 2008 at 3:49 pm

According to a job posting at GamesOnDeck, Microsoft seems to be on the look out for a Producer/Director/Project Manager to get onto “building the games, the console interface and logic, and the server support for a totally new LIVE experience.”
Does this mean that the third iteration of Xbox Live is already in production? Is it going to be a full on 3D environment, something to battle Sony’s Home? We don’t know jack!
I doubt it’ll be for the Xbox 720 (or whatever the next Xbox is gonna be called), since the Xbox 360 is mentioned on the job posting.
Whatever Microsoft ends up doing for Live, it’s doubtful that we’ll see it until after 2008.
On a completely unrelated note, if you’re looking for a job in the games industry, GamesOnDeck seems to have a pretty comprehensive thing going on with their JobSeeker.
