RRoD Strikes Microsoft at GDC

BBC News editor, Darren Waters caught a sight that’s often seen — a dead 360. Where he saw it was unexpected. On one of Microsoft’s own demo stations at GDC ‘08.
This is what he had to say about Microsoft’s inadvertent statement about the state of the 360:
At the very least it’s embarrassing for the company that its own stock of demo machines are still susceptible to the problem.
Recently, I had my 360 fall to the same fate and I forgave Microsoft for it. Mainly, because I bought it before the whole Red Ring of Death shit hit the fans, and I was pleasantly surprised at how long it fought death. But come on guys, after the death of millions of 360’s, the spending of billions of dollars, it’s surprising you still haven’t fixed your manufacturing. Get on that.
I mean really, You are MICROSOFT! You know what that means? That means you have an astronomical amount of money. Spend it and fix your shit, now.
