Gears of War 2 to be Released November 2008?

Chad just phoned me from the front row of the Microsoft keynote at GDC 08 where the word seems to be that Gears of War 2 will be officially announced at the end of the keynote.
An Italian press release has hit the web and Patrick Steen was able to grab it from the NeoGaf forums. Once translated to English, it reads:
“Gears of War 2” is the sequel to the best seller, with 4,5 million copies sold, which redefined the tactical/third person/action game genre. “Gears of War 2” follow the story of Marcus Fenix and Delta Team in an epic saga of survival, defeat (?) and punishment. Developed by Epic games as an Xbox 360 exclusive, “Gears of War 2” will be available from November.
We’ll let you know when Gears of War 2 is officially confirmed, but it looks like it’s going to be soon.
