Want to be one of the first to test out the multiplayer aspect of MGS4? No problem, the official Sony Playstation Blog confirms that those who pre-order the game will be guaranteed access to the MP beta.
… If you can’t wait to try out MGS4, the good news is you don’t have to much longer. Those who pre-order the game will be guaranteed access to a multiplayer beta test for Metal Gear Online scheduled for late April.
There you have it. The waiting period is drawing to a close, and the faint sound of “snake? snake? snaaaaaaaake?!!” is growing louder by the minute. Unfortunately, this deal only applies to the US at this time. Sorry Patrick.

I hope so, but I remember having to order my special edition of MGS3: Subsistence through a friend in the US.
I think it did end up being available up here, but it was not very orderly or clear–and I’m not even sure.
I just hope it’s through all retailers… .

Yea … you may want to check on that. Make sure wherever you pre-ordered recognizes the beta deal and that your pre-order is included. Details aren’t exactly crystal clear yet.
