Call of Duty 5 Wish List

Activision has confirmed Treyarch is working hard at Call of Duty 5 for 2008, and once again is taking a step back and opening the once thought closed doors to World War 2.
Ever since the release of Infinity Ward’s Call of Duty 4, fans have been craving nothing but “Modern Warfare” in all it’s glory. Unfortunately, for all the Call of Duty 4 lovers out there, you are going to have to wait for COD 6 before being able to return to the modern style of combat you have grown to love.
The only advice I could give to you as a fellow gamer is just keep on wishin’ for the best — and with that, here is my COD 5 wish list.
Call of Duty 5 Wish List
1. Longer campaign
2. Co-op campaign mode
3. Add a guest system for online play.
4. Dedicated Servers
5. Introduce the M2A1-7 Flamethrower
6. Multiplayer-Be able to pick from all countries dealing with WWII and all weapon classes produced by each country.
7. Larger multiplayer maps.
8. Newly added game types.
9. Multiplayer introduces medals, achievements, and an updated in-game ranking system.
10. Multiplayer map editor and forge.
11. More in-depth story line focusing on specific characters on the axis and allies.
12. DLC (downloadable content)
13. Updated and accurate matchmaking system.
14. Free roam, more exploration, and open ended decisions that could affect your campaign mode.
15. Infinity Ward develops it “Ha Ha, that’s not going to happen.”
If you just absolutely don’t want anything to do with Treyarch and its WWII’ness, then you must wait for Call of Duty 6 in 2009. And if you are looking forward to the return of the WWII era, give us a shout in the comment box on what YOU would like to see in the next Call of Duty.

I actually like the lack of multiplayer achievements in CoD 4. It’s nice to just be able to play the game online for the sake of playing the game online, and not have to worry about people doing stupid crap or “boosting” to get achievements. Personally, I think things like leaderboards and the like should be achievement enough for multiplayer.
That’s all I have to say, really, because I’m sick to death of WWII shooters and I’ve never even played them that much, and I don’t trust Treyarch to do anything worth a crap anyway.

I agree, Treyarch’s previous installments to the Call of Duty franchise have been no where near as good as Infinity Ward’s and that’s a huge understatement. Considering, the fact that COD 4 has set the bar extremely high for all first-person shooters, it’s going to be hard to top.

Everything i thought has already been said…I could vomit from another WWII shooter….Cod 4 will suffice until CoD 6. And definatly stick with inifiti ward….dont fix what isnt broken…i also agree that the online achievements are fine as they are….the only thing different i would like to see is a little something for achieving lvl 55 max prestige…i mean come on!!…i just logged 15 days on your game and all i have to show for it is this lousy gold cross!….here’s my thought….two words…mini….gun….unlockable at 55 max prestige…cannot be used by anyone less than 55 max or it blows up and kills you!!! how cool would that be…A DEFINATE MUST: MORE THAN 1 PERSON PLAYING ONLINE!!! i mean wtf!!! how much fun is halo….getting 4 systems together playing 16 buds in one match…..CoD requires 16 systems…16 tv’s….and a !@#$ ton of ethernet ports…..not to mention a heck of a download/upload internet connection….how about a split screen online play…pretty please!!! thats all for now…this is turning into a novel…:)

i want 2 stay with modern cuz i wanna c the us navy seals so i can be the beastliest fighting unit in the world. the usmc so i can fly around in a cobra and ride in an abrams or humvee,cuz i beleive treyarc is at least smart enough 2 put that in their games. stick with the british SAS. there coole 2.or royal marinne camandoes.(also british). and 1 more thing. in cod4 multiplayer u get the m4a1 carbine. i think after level 55 u should get the sopmod so u can have like a red dot site m203, and suppressor at the same time.

well why did they have to go back in time and with activision! gawd but now seeing that i cant change their ideas with my cold war suggestion ill say that.
they should have more factions to play as. ie
french resistance
australia
new zeland
and other enemys it wasnt all germany in the war

.japan
.small conties like romainia and that
and more vheclies they obliderated cod3 with only 2 tanks and a jeep maybe planes or varyiable tanks!!

I like the idea of a perk where you can have a red dot and a silencer or a red dot and a grenade launcher on a gun at the sametime after level 55….. more than 1 person should be able to play online at once…..bigger online maps with vehicles is a must and forge would be really awsome to

what i want is MULTIPLAYER!!!!!!! i mean cuz i hav like 12 cousins and a lot of friend s and every time someone comes over i have to pass it and pass it…and pass it… and pass it…and pass it…! PLEASE do not put big multiplayer maps bcuz when im playing headquarters they spawn me on the complete other side of the map and it takes completely forever to get to the other side and when i get there they captured it. Also i want online co-op. and i want some acheivements to be online not all of them to be in campaign. ok thank you. PLEASE…PORFAVOR…GRACIAS bye bye and good night please grant my wish santa…=P

i forgot to put this yea i also want to put like a silencer (suppresser) on the snipeer in multiplayer which we get to do in campaign and more than 2RPG’s, claymores, C4’s, and Noob-Tube’s maybe we can like pick them up when we kill some one with yea… PEACE =D

What is the problem? Big deal there going back to WW2, whens the last time you actually picked up and played a WW2 game. and stop wisihing for OMG THIS GAME HAS IT WHY CANT THIS…like forge…stop wishing for what will never happen. Cod5 is suppose to have same game mechanincs in cod4 except…WOAH…this is a killer for most of u… u cant paint ur guns!!! and no m16!!!…i look foward to actually using some skill and not constatnly spraying with an m4carbine with m203 along with slieght of hand.

jesus christ people. Believe it or not, there is a reason its called WORLD war II. Which means it was fought around the world, specifically speaking the pacific theatre, a pratically untouched genre. I will love this game to death, for a “survival horror” game about Japanese? WHATS NOT TO LOVE!

I wouldn’t mind another WWII shooter but I think they need to add a twist to it. I’m sick of using always killing germans, for once we should be able to use Germany (or Japan, Italy) and have a hypothetical campaign mode where we fight the allies. I also believe COD4 has really set the bar for shooters seeing as I can’t even play another game anymore with a gun because it dosen’t compare to the realism of COD4. The only thing i would really want in COD4 is more realism (ie. shot in the head, chest, or any other vital area = death) also no juggernaut its really lame and just makes you look like a big pussy because you had more health then me and I still kicked your ass last but not least my biggest complaint of all is martyrdom that is the biggest load of shit ever have a grenade hatch out of your ass everytime you die. It’s really early and most of this probally dosent make sense but hopefully I got a few points across and oh yeah one more thing like some one said earlier Battlefield Vietnam would be awesome

ok, the reason COD3 wasnt great in some people’s minds is because treyarch had 11 months to work on it, while working on another game, infinityward had 2 years, now it’s treyarchs turn, with 2-4 campaign and splitscreen they will conquer the likes of call of duty 4
plus, opening scene a jap burns out a US POW’s eye with a ciggarette and then slices his throat with a katan

1.More weapons flamethrower,
2.Operate vehicles like tanks during siege sequences etc.
3.Insted of as a ground unit some air battles
4.Longer missions
5.Squad tactics ( Like telling soldiers to hold and go in a room and different offensive tactics.
6.More dialogue
7.Enemies raect realistic ex. when an enemy sniper kills alot of guys they fall back and hide
8.Co-op campaign
9.allies/enemies that aren’t just reg grunts like a sgt. as a sniper etc.
10.More airstrikes and helicopter support for both ai and human.
11.Ally air units drop off suppplies like weapons and soldiers
12.Stop having soldierscoming from random places just have checkpoints where a helicopter drop some off for ya or some soldiers meet up with you throught out the mission.
13.On multiplayer Im a great sharpshooter and find tremdnous hiding spots but whenever i hid my friend would just aim his recicle at random spots and see my tag please disable that.
14.More missions
15.More factions
16.Customize character throught campain w/ ghillie suits or special weapons you would like to ave with you it would be amazing
17.I am sick of get hurt and cower for a sec if im about to die and got shot in the leg than i should be slower during a checkpoint have a medic to heal ur leg to make it real.
18.More names in COd 4 for ai i seen a pvt. rocewitz to a cprl. and had a different skin
color.
19.If a Pvt.Cooper with the same voice and skin dies i dont want to see him again in the next level.
20.When you die please have the soldiers stop unloading a full ak-47 on my body its so annoying

I have more for the wishlist
21 lol.in ww2 instead of intels samurai swords would be cool and no more gay color effects like dual weilding cheat etc.
22.Free roaming i hate having a door w/ ten chinas in their scared to come out.
23.Alternate endings for ur actions through campain and for missions too many lost allies mean the next kill the leader breach his palace mission would be easier.
24.Ai parachuting enemy or allies in a heated battlefield.
25.Medals in campain and local multiplayer like killjoy would be cool.
26.Forge
27.UAV recon in campain would be cool and a heli over u backing u up and telling a shotgun behind that dumpster would be great and realistic.
28.Give me a challenge put the coroloris effect and some wind when shooting or sniping too make u shoot strtegically would be cool and realistic
28.when a soldier is wounded and got shot in the leg twice get the man on a strecther on a helciopter and have him in a new mission.
29.COD 4 graphics were amazing now more better
30.Can we have fire grendes.
31.Blasting the ac in an office should blow up a building
32.Poison grenades
