Most of us have heard by now that the much-anticipated Marvel Universe Online game for the PC and Xbox 360 has been canceled. Cryptic Studios was understandably upset, but they’ve taken their work on the superhero game in an exciting new direction. I’m sort of glad and sort of upset by the dropping of the Marvel license. On one had, it would be cool to play a game in the Marvel universe, but I know that a lot of people would be crying that it’s stupid to not be able to play as Woverine or Spider-Man or what have you. It’s the same thing SWG went through when it launched. It looks awesome and while not being in the Marvel universe might hurt it a bit, I don’t think it’s all bad at all. Besides, do you really want to be playing and have someone say, “That’s impossible, Mageto wouldn’t be able to do that because his strength is only rated at a 6.3 according to MarvelMetaLoser. Pfft, don’t you people know ANYTHING?!”

I’m not entirely sure what exactly you mean, JAKESPLACE, but Champions Online is scheduled for the Xbox 360 as well as PC.

Yeah, what did he mean?
You are correct Krispy! It is a change for the better. ‘Cuz, I am sure Wolverine’s butt-kicking ability would be uber-nerfed, thus pissing me off. Then, I would have to start an organization to stop hating on Wolvies true abilities and prowess by making him not so awesome in video games. I would call it:
The OTSHOWTAAPBMHNSAIVG.

I guess we won’t get the Marvel vs DC debate added to the PS3 vs 360 debate then. Too bad.
The DC MMO dealy is still going on for the PS3, right?
