New Street Fighter IV Character – “The Fort”
by Kev Lochun on March 12, 2008 at 12:44 pm
This week’s Famitsu scans see another warrior sign up for fisticuffs – a Lucha Libre wrestler in a spandex mask.
He goes by the mysterious sounding El Fuerte, which is actually Spanish for ‘The Fort’, although he doesn’t look quite as much of a brick shithouse as Zangief. Lucha Libre is also (apparently) a very aerial form of wrestling, so I’d wager he’ll be a damn sight nippier too.

And that’s all Capcom are saying, so you’ll have be content with this sneaky-peek for now.

El Fuerte actually means “Strong One” in spanish, as well as “The Fort”.
I’d like to think that when naming him, they thought of him as a strong dude, moreso than a fort.
