First Look at Formula 1 Car in Gran Turismo

Yes, this is the first lisceneced F1 car in a Gran Turismo game.  It’s looking impressive and rivals its real-life counterpart, the 2007 F1.  Could this be a hint at what’s to come in Gran Turismo 5?  Seperate Formula 1 events that may sky rocket the game onto another plain of existence?  We present to you the first hazy screen caps of this beauty.

It’s possible, since Sony must have renwed their F1 liscene – a liscene which affords them sole rights to F1 cars in videogames.  A situation Peter Moore of EA is envious of:

Maybe in a few years the situation will change, but until then we fully respect the rights held by our partners at Sony.

Thankfully one of these babies has made it into Gran Turismo 5 Prologue, giving us a sneak peak of what could be in store for the full game.  You can check out four hazy screenshots in our gallery, along with a host of official screenshots of the game.

GT5P releases this month in Europe, and mid-April in North America, both with a host of added value over the Japanese version released last year.
