Buy GTAIV Music Using Fancy In-Game System

What’s the name of this song? I like it.
Using “ZiT” technology present in Liberty City, players can use their in-game mobile phones to acquire music. While playing, if you hear a song that you like, you can open up your phone (in the game; don’t go picking up your real phone!) and dial ZIT-555-0100. You’ll then receive a text message with the song and artist name, and if you’re registered at the Rockstar Games Social Club community site (which Geoff Haugan talks about here), you’ll recieve an e-mail linking you to Amazon.com, where you can purchase the track.
All of the songs that you nab in the game will be located on a custom playlist at Amazon for purchase at any time. Songs will be available for around 89 - 99 cents per track.

Hmmm, nice trick to lure people into buying music using the game.. They should have given the option to buy the music using the “points or money” earned from the game itself.. That would have been a much better move…

Sounds a bit of overkill to me. What about checking the manual for the track listing then searching amazon directly? Still, if it keeps the marketing drones happy I’m sure anyone with a brain won’t bother with it. I still object to “them” charging an extortionate price for a low quality single track anyway. Let’s face it, by the time you’ve finished playing the game, you’ll probably have heard enough of them anyway. Hopefully that didn’t make it into the final build at the expense of a proper game function!

I hope the GTA IV game lives up to my expectations. The music has very been good in the past. Earned music points would be fun too. I heard first ppl to complete the game win prizes :)
