Sony wants you to buy a PlayStation 3 for Metal Gear Solid 4, so they’re trying to make it as easy as possible. Aside from the bundles already announced in Japan and North America, Sony is adding three more to tempt Japanese gamers. Come see the pretty colors!

Going for 49,800 Yen, the new PS3/MGS4 bundles include the Dualshock 3 controller, a copy of MGS4 and the 40GB PS3 hardware in one of three colors: Clear Black, Ceramic White and Satin Silver.

The package is invitingly titled “Welcome Box”.

Now, Konami, how about you let us know in North America how we’re going to get the bundles you’ve announced for us and what’s up with the special edition hardware? It’s not often we get special colors over here and all anyone will tell me is that EB doesn’t take pre-orders for hardware.

This could get messy.
