Sony Announces GT Academy, Not To Be Confused With The Other GTA

Win a Nissan! Not this one, but isn’t it neat?
Hot on the heels of the announcement that Gran Turismo 5 has sold 1.5 million copies came the announcement from Sony that, in conjunction with Nissan, they will be hosting a GT Academy with virtual and real life competitions to test your digital driving abilities and your real life road skills.
To the victor go the spoils, and in this case the spoils happen to be a spot in the 24 hour Dubai Race next year in a slick new tricked out Nissan.
The test for the living room racers will be to see if their skills translate to the real world. The GT Academy will launch on May 23rd on the PlayStation Network with all stages being made available for download online.
But that’s all we know. The details are a bit thin at this point, so stay tuned for more info.
