My God, It’s Full Of Starcraft: Blizzard Store Offers Digital Downloads

Tell a few hundred of your brood, Starcraft is now available to purchase online!
If you are anything like me, and I hope for your sake you aren’t, then you will be very pleased to learn that Blizzard has opened up digital downloads of some of its older titles directly from the Blizzard online store.
What does this mean for gamers? Well, if you lost or broke or simply never bought a StarCraft disk all those years ago, now is your chance to get it without leaving the comfort of your well indented PC chair for a mere $15, Brood Wars included. That’s one month of WoW, or a lifetime of glorious siege tanks and zergling rushes.
If you think I’m drooling over the prospect of playing StarCraft again (I lost one disk and destroyed another) you should see me ogling StarCraft II, which makes me thinks this is a way to build even more hype for Blizzard’s uber-anticipated RTS, if that’s even possible.
Also available is WarCraft III: Reign of Chaos and its expansion, The Frozen Throne, coming in at $20 each. As of now, it doesn’t look like Diablo or Diablo II are available for digital download, but one can hope those will shortly follow suit.
But even if they don’t: Siege Tanks. Need I say more?
And, as an added bonus, purchasing one of the digital downloads will gives you the opportunity to throw your name in the proverbial hat for a chance to win a beta spot in upcoming Blizzard games. This likely means Wrath of the Lich King or StarCraft II, which I would gladly pay $15 for on its own.
With this much awesomeness packed into one digital download, how can you pass up the chance to relive some of the greatest RTS to date?
