The co-founder of Maxis, Jeff Braun, has confirmed that a new Oddworld Game is in development, with the team from Oddworld Inhabitants working on it:
They’re such a talented group of people and I really trust their ability to create compelling content.
It was hinted that the next Oddworld might be released via episodic content and could even take years before the game itself ships.
For those who don’t remember Oddworld, the various editions of the franchise introduced characters such as Abe and Munch who had to escape extermination using mind control and farts.
