Ubisoft Announces New Rayman Raving Rabbids Game

by Rangebar Merani on May 29, 2008 at 3:45 pm

RRR3

Ubisoft recently announced that the latest Rayman Raving Rabbids game, TV Party, will be available for the Wii and the Nintendo DS this holiday season.

The latest installment of Rayman Raving Rabbids will feature the use of the Wii Balance Board accessory, for unusual downhill “butt sliding” minigames. The subtitle “TV Party” refers to the invasion of televisions worldwide by the Rabbids, which means that the variety of mini-games will be spoofs of different TV shows, such as “soap operas, music videos, etc,” according to 1up.com.

“The Rayman Raving Rabbids titles have been an immense success, entertaining the world over,” said Yves Guillemot, president and CEO of Ubisoft. “The inclusion of the Wii Balance Board into the game was a huge source of inspiration for our development team and I guarantee you will see the Wii Balance Board used in ways that will be surprisingly unexpected!”

Ubisoft has just released a trailer for the game showing off some of its mini-games– check it out here.

More details about Rayman Raving Rabbids TV Party will be shown at E3 2008.
