Happy Birthday, Capcom!

What? No frosting!!??
Apparently, June 2008 is the month of anniversaries. First we had Konami and Kojima Productions celebrating 20 years of Metal Gear with the release of Metal Gear Solid 4. Now, we have Capcom celebrating its 25th anniversary!
They’ve been around for a long time, and that number of 25 years proves it, all the way back to the days of the original Mega Man series for the NES and the staggering number of Street Fighter II games, each of which improved on the previous with balance tweaks and character additions.
After years of bringing us quality title after quality title, there are still a few shiners on its record. Namely, the more recent Mega Man titles which have diluted the series to the point that off-shoots have been overdone. But hey, nobody would bring that up in your birthday, right? At least they’re handling most of their IPs better than Sega have done Sonic lately.
Happy Birthday Capcom! Now get started on Mega Man Legends 3!
