Rock Band fans who have a sweet spot for The Pixies will be happy to know that the band’s third album, the 1989 release Doolittle, will be available for download next week. Hit the jump for details.
The album will hit Xbox Live on Tuesday, June 17th for 1520 MS Points ($19) and the Playstation Network the following Thursday, June 19th. And of course, each of the 14 tracks can be purchased individually for $2.
Gamers should note that one of the albums songs, Wave of Mutilation, is already on the Rock Band soundtrack. So I guess you could say that you’re getting jipped on one song. But hey, The Pixies rock, plain and simple.
