Movie Review: The Incredible Hulk
by Chad Lakkis on June 14, 2008 at 11:00 pm

I am back from my Saturday movie getaway, and I must say, the big green guy was more tolerable the second time around. As for the annoying guy who talked on his cell phone and entertained his two children as if he was home chilling on his couch during the first 15 minutes of the movie — he was one fit of gamma rage away from eating my fist with his popcorn.
In terms of Marvel’s approach to Hulk take two, one thing you will likely walk away with after this is the feeling that Marvel is doing their darndest to integrate their movies in a comic book “cross over” type of way, which may prove to be a very cool thing that potentially could pave the way to blockbuster climax.
As for the green dude’s alter personality, Edward Norton’s portrayal of Bruce Banner was decent, however the major difference (in my opinion) this time around was not so much the caliber of acting, as it was the point in which the story kicks off.
Overall The Incredible Hulk is an action packed special effect driven popcorn flick. If you are a big fan of thing that go BOOM, guns that go BANG, and hulks that go SMASH, this flick is worth the price of admission.

this new Incredible Hulk is a lot more fun than the first one with Eric Bana; plus Ed Norton does his specialty — the “split personality” role…
