EA Brings Educational Games to DS

Looks like Electronic Arts is thinking of the children. Today they announced that they’re releasing Brain Quest for the DS, which is based on the educational card games of the same name. More specifically, there will be two games: one for third and fourth graders, and the other for fifth and sixth graders. Naturally they’ll be out in September, just in time for school.
The Brain Quest video games will contain fast-paced quizzes in English, history, math, science, and geography. There’s a Quest Mode for those who want to add a little story to their learning. There’s also a Multiplayer Mode where kids can play against friends and siblings.
Both games will retail for $29.99, which is a cheaper alternative to enrolling your kids in some after-school learning center.
