Never Rob A Videogame Store Without A Gun
Several men were caught robbing a videogame store in Jacksonville, Florida, where police shot and killed the guy that didn’t have a gun.
Police say they saw a gun on one of the robbers, but they somehow managed to not shoot that guy and instead killed Artavious Edmond Debose, an unarmed man. So it would seem that the odds are strangely in your favor to not get shot if you yourself are packing heat.
I know what you may be thinking. You don’t want to get capped, but you don’t have a gun, right? Maybe you should carry a fake gun to keep yourself safe from the po-po’s wrath, make them at least think you are strapped. Wrong again.
It seems that fake guns will also get you shot. Earlier in the same day, Jacksonville police blasted James Martin Imbrani several times after he robbed a bank with a BB gun.
Florida law states that “officers can use force if they believe fleeing felons pose a threat to the officer or others,” so it would seem that no gun and fake gun is more dangerous than real gun. While we obviously don’t advocate robbing anything in the first place, if you’re planning to break the law, at least be safe about it and buy yourself a piece.
I also suggest that the Jacksonville police spend some more time on their murder simulators to make sure they can hit the right guy.
