Guitar Hero: On Tour is Activision’s Best DS Launch Ever Selling Over 300,000

During its first week on the market in North America, Vicarious Vision’s Guitar Hero: On Tour sold more than 300,000 copies, making it Activision’s largest game launch on the Nintendo DS in company history.
Guitar Hero: On Tour’s performance ranks it as “one of Activision’s top 5 best-selling launches of any title on any platform in the company’s history.”
“Guitar Hero is one of the most successful entertainment properties and continues to push the boundaries of innovation with Guitar Hero: On Tour,” said Mike Griffith, President and Chief Executive Officer, Activision Publishing, Inc. “The game’s breakthrough peripheral brings the Guitar Hero experience to the 41 million DS users in North America and Europe, where they can play anywhere, anytime.”
I’m not surprised to see another Guitar Hero game conquer yet another platform. But it’s just funny how people would by any game with the Guitar Hero name on it. It doesn’t even matter how good or bad the game actually is.
I personally think the game is really awkward to play on the DS. And there isn’t an actual guitar controller to play with. Just some attachment to the DS that gets your wrist really tired in just a matter of time. Just kinda weird to me.

I wouldn’t wiggle my fingers around in public like that unless someone paid me. I’d prefer to keep it to the privacy of my home.

Cookigaki will pay to see SeasonedSalt wiggle her fingers around! Cookigaki would enjoy putting it in the privacy of SeasonedSalt’s home! Cookigaki would like SeasonedSalt on his meat! If you do not agree than Cookigaki does not approve!

last i checked tomonoatmeal cookigaki was out of a job. where you going to get all that money from?

All what money? Cookigaki pays his bills with leather jacket muscles and a sunglasses stare. Spending money is something of which Cookigaki does not approve.
