EA Fills Facebook Void With Official Scrabble Application

Feeling verbose? Do your Facebook friends recognize you as the reigning champion of bizarre words? Does the Dictionary have a place on your list of favorite books? Does the word Zephyr enter your regular vocabulary? Well, Electronic Arts has got a game for you.
Its time to get your word on with official Scrabble for Facebook, EA’s first foray into games on social networking sites.
If you’re internet savvy at all (and I will assume since you’re reading this you are) you know that social networking sites are huge these days, and with Facebook now open to third-party applications, EA is jumping on the bandwagon.
However, it should be noted that a version of Scrabble formerly existed on Facebook, so EA is entering into well charted waters. Still, if you want to bolster your nomenclature (that’s gotta be worth 90 points) EA’s willing to indulge your logophiliac tendencies. Plus, its free. So everyone wins. Especially the guy with the dictionary.
