Video Games Live Greatest Hits CD Released

If you don’t mind not being able to see the live orchestra and on stage antics that have helped make Video Games Live the must see experience it is today, then you will be thrilled to hear that the audio experience is now available for you to own.
Video Games Live Greatest Hits Volume 1 is a collaboration between VGL and EMI Classics. The CD will contain many of the orchestras most popular adaptations from video games such as World of Warcraft, Tetris, Halo, and Castlevania. In addition, Volume 1 will include several previously unreleased unique arrangements.

It was extremely well received by critics and fans alike and was the recipient of many “Game of the Year” awards. It has been called the greatest PlayStation® 2 game of all time by many top gaming magazines and websites. The award-winning score by Gerard Marino was his first credit as a game composer.
8. Advent Rising Suite

Theirs going to be apparently extra tracks on itunes, and I was looking to see the price on the advent rising soundtrack and amazon linked me these tracks, you can preview them but they are not yet downloadable but will be in high quality at 256kbps.

Well I don’t know. The press release indicates they will have exclusive digital content to coincide with video game live events.
I checked itunes, I don’t see any listings for the album yet.

After seeing VGL in London last summer, this is something I have been looking forward too for a while.
