Play Street Fighter IV and II HD Remix at Evo2K8

For the uninitiated, Evo2K is the biggest fighting game tournament in the country. And it’s about to get even bigger, or as Epic Games’ Clifford Bleszinski would put it, “bigger, better, and more badass.” This year’s tournament boasts that “Every [Street Fighter IV] machine on the continent will be there!” as well as “the freshest builds of SSF2T HD Remix.”
For those genuinely interested on participating, as opposed to just going and mooching off the aforementioned forms of awesome, follow the link and register. The entry fee is $10.00 USD per game, which are as follows: Marvel vs. Capcom 2, Capcom vs. SNK 2, Street Fighter III: 3rd Strike, Super Street Fighter II Turbo, Tekken 5: Dark Resurrection, and Super Smash Bro. Brawl.
If you’re like me, you should know that you’ll be given the chance to go up against the best of the best, and you probably won’t it very far. But don’t let me bring you down– you should still try, at least a little.
If not, you may end up missing something as utterly, for the lack of a better term, epic as this:
Evo2K8 will be taking place in August 8-10, 2008 at Las Vegas, NV in the Tropicana Hotel and Resort. Good luck, kiddos!
