Halo 2 is the best-selling console shooter of all time, and Halo 3 is only slightly behind it. Of course it’s a benchmark. I, personally, don’t think Halo is all that super great, but it’s still a benchmark regardless of my opinion.

Of course not, Killzone 2 is in a league of it’s own. No purple critters with pink waterguns here. Halo is a joke that only got hyped up as much as it did because it is all that the xbox ever had. It’s a shame that when Gears finally came around people were still praising Halo. Judging from the tweens on xbox live, the game fits the target audience perfectly. Prepubescent children trying to stay up passed their bedtime playing on their 5th 360 that their parents bought them.
