Sonic & The Black Knight: Nine In-Game Scans

by Chad Lakkis on July 21, 2008 at 9:08 pm

Nine scans from the Nintendo Power issue featuring Sonic & The Black Knight on the cover have surfaced online. After just seeing Sonic Unleashed in action at E3, and witnessing the “Werehog”, the idea of Sonic with a sword doesn’t shock me much. Have a look at the scans below.

First werewolf bs and now this.. I guess it really is too much to ask for a good, pure sonic game.

What are the aspects that most interest you in a Sonic game? What I am asking is, if you could create your ideal “next gen” Sonic game, what would it be?

They should just release a 2D side scroller on PSN, XBL, and WiiWare. I think they could make more money that way and recapture that “hardcore” gaming audience that they have definitley lost by now.

I’d imagine it would cut their development costs by a lot as well. Basically they should do what Capcom is doing with Mega Man 9. I honestly don’t think Sonic will ever be good in 3D.

And for fudges sakes, stop putting humans in these games.

sure it is pretty hard to keep taking in all these new sonic that keep popping up but if u all are so stuck in the genesis era get yourself a copy of mega collection and play in your little dark corner. i have faith in Sonic Unleashed especially because Yoshihisa Hashimoto looked through all the sonic games and is trying to basically mix new (werehog) and old (sonic) along with other bonus content (hopefully chao) to create a great game i mean you get to play as tails and sonic in the tornado and fly to other countries and it’s ONLY sonic in story mode isnt that enough for now you have to tackle one problem at a time and maybe if this goes well they may make a true follow up to Sonic Adventure 2
